JJonathan Schwalb is General Counsel at Churchwick Partners. Jonathan has been involved in real estate representing a variety of different investors, and financial institution lenders for over 10 years. Jonathan plays an active role in advising Churchwick’s leadership on a wide variety of matters, including legal, conversion and rezoning efforts, asset management and acquisitions. Jonathan provides ongoing direction on legal matters impacting Churchwick’s portfolio. Jonathan also engages and oversees outside counsel as needed.
Prior to joining Churchwick, Jonathan oversaw a Creditor’s Rights group at a mid-size law firm in New York, which focused on working with various lending institutions to better understand their business needs and discuss the legal strategy with those needs top of mind. Jonathan managed real estate loan portfolios that were in default and represented clients in Federal Court in New York & New Jersey. Jonathan strategized with lenders regarding complex bankruptcy and real estate matters and often mitigated potential litigation with creative solutions.
Jonathan graduated from Yeshiva University in 2006 with a BA in Political Science and graduated law school from Hofstra University in 2009. Prior to entering the creditor’s rights and real estate practices, Jonathan clerked for the Hon. George F. Rohde, Jr. in New Jersey Superior Court. Jonathan lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children.

Joe Listhaus is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Rockledge, a privately held real estate investment firm focused on the acquisition, ownership, and management of multifamily, hospitality, and retail properties across the United States. Since Rockledge’s inception, Joe has overseen more than $1 billion in real estate transactions, guiding the firm’s disciplined investment strategy and long-term value creation approach. Today, Rockledge owns and operates approximately 10,000 residential units and more than 7 million square feet of real estate.
Joe focuses on acquiring underappreciated assets and repositioning them through active management and strategic capital improvements. Under his leadership, Rockledge has built a diversified real estate platform spanning multiple markets, with a track record of executing complex value-add, special situation, and distressed investments. Guided by analytical rigor and entrepreneurial insight, Joe emphasizes hands-on operational improvement and strategic repositioning to unlock asset-level value.
In addition to Rockledge, Joe is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Wesley Lake Partners, a New York City-based alternative finance company that has provided over $650 million in growth capital to small and medium-sized businesses nationwide and has participated in the debt financing of more than thirty feature films. He also co-founded Stonewall Venture Partners, an early-stage investment firm focused on fintech, insurtech, and proptech startups, with a combined portfolio valuation exceeding $700 million.
Joe graduated from New York University, earning a double major in Economics and Jewish History, which he completed in two and a half years.

Jason formally joined Churchwick Partners as a Partner in January 2025, after serving in an advisory role since the company’s founding. Previously, he worked for eighteen years at Antheus Capital, a real estate private equity firm focused on acquiring, developing, and managing multifamily and mixed-use assets in urban markets across the Midwest. Jason joined Antheus in 2006, and during his tenure, he helped grow the company from 1,000 to 12,000 units under management and completed nearly $3 billion in transactions in the eastern, southern, and midwestern U.S. Prior to his departure, Jason served as Chief Financial Officer, managing a staff of thirty and overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, financing, asset management, and accounting.
Jason graduated magna cum laude from Yeshiva University in 2006 and currently resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife and daughter.

Jaime Gitler is Co-founder and Partner of Churchwick Partners. Jaime has 20 years of experience in real estate, structured credit and capital markets. Jaime spent the first 9 years of his career at Standard and Poor’s focusing on fixed income mutual funds, real estate companies and homebuilders. Prior to founding Churchwick Partners, Jaime spent 7 years at J.P. Morgan within their Commercial & Investment Banking division negotiating and structuring credit facilities and loans across the real estate spectrum. At J.P. Morgan, Jaime was a sitting member of the investment committee evaluating long term, bridge and construction loans.
Jaime graduated from Yeshiva University in 2006, summa cum laude, with a BA in History. Jaime also completed the CFA examinations. Jaime lives in New York with his wife and four children.

David Kaye is Co-Founder and Partner of Churchwick Partners, where he focuses on real estate investing and capital markets strategy. Over the past 19 years, he has completed more than $750 million in transactions across multiple asset classes.
In 2013, David co-founded Rockledge, a privately owned real estate investment firm focused on acquiring and repositioning underperforming residential, hospitality, and retail assets nationwide. His investment approach centers on identifying operational inefficiencies and capital improvement opportunities that can unlock stabilized cash flow and long-term value.
Outside of Churchwick, David maintains ownership interests in over 3,000 multifamily units in the New York City area, along with hotel and multifamily portfolios across the U.S. Throughout his career, he has invested across multifamily, office, retail, manufactured housing, condos, and co-ops.
David also serves as Executive Managing Director of GFP Real Estate, where he oversees more than 1 million square feet of office properties in New York City, including 230 Fifth Avenue, 1560 Broadway, and 630 Ninth Avenue.

Asaf Fligelman, is a Co-Founder and Partner of Churchwick Partners. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he earned his CPA, before spending a decade at Millennium Management. During his tenure at the New York-based hedge fund, Asaf specialized in US-listed equities and ultimately served as a Portfolio Manager with approximately $750 million of capital under management. Before launching Churchwick Partners, he managed the public equities portfolio at a large single-family office with over $1.5 billion of capital under management.
Asaf graduated from Yeshiva University in 2006 with a BA in Accounting. He lives in Woodmere with his wife and three children.
